iConstructionApp app for iPhone and iPad

iConstructionApp is a business app complimenting iConstruction web application suite.

iPortal Automation has a web based product called iConstruction.

It is an ERP for construction companies in US to run their business.

It has several modules such as iERM, iHelpDesk, iSafety, iForecast, iAsset, iTime SAL, iTime Field and so on.

A client who has bought and is using iConstruction web based ERP, will be using this free iOS native app.

Employees of such a client are the users.

Web application ERP runs on Clients MS Windows servers inside their corporate network.

Users can use the web based ERP on any internet connected device.

Corresponding to each of these web based modules, we are introducing iOS native apps.

iHelpDesk: This compliments the web based iHelpDesk module. iHelpDesk is an issue ticketing system.

The very first time a user logs into iConstructionApp, user enters the corporate app server URL, given to them by their network admin. This is the url for their windows web app server. It hosts web services.

User enters windows userid and password. App calls a Windows Active Directory authentication web service. If the user is a valid user in the corporate database, he/she is taken to the Main Menu showing the available modules.

If the authentication fails, user can retry login.

On successful login, user is taken to the main menu showing the modules granted to his/her role.

In iHelpDesk module, user is creating issue tickets.
Issues are predefined issues.
For each predefined issue, there is a Ticket designed with specific fields relevant to that issue.

The Ticket menu shows the predefined issues in a tree menu format.

User presses an issue to report, opens a blank ticket, enters issue details and SAVEs the ticket.

iHelpDesk app calls web services to save the ticket to corporate database.

Tickets created are available to support engineers in the web application.

That is the functionality in iConstructionAPP ver 1.0

iSafety: This compliments iSafety on the Web.

User can do everything in this app as can be done in the web module.

iForecast: This compliments iForecast on the Web.

Admin users can review Project cost / budget data and Variances at any time.
